Farmers market and the arts in Lake Oswego
Two long-running community traditions are worth knowing here, one run by the City and one by a nonprofit arts center.
Lake Oswego Farmers' Market
The City of Lake Oswego runs the market. Its page says 2026 is the 25th season, with Saturday markets from May 9 through October 31, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at Millennium Plaza Park, and no market on July 4. Season dates change, so use the City page for the current schedule.
Festival of the Arts
The Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts is presented by Lakewood Center for the Arts, which calls itself a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization. The 2026 festival ran June 26 to 28 at two venues: Lakewood Center for the Arts at 368 S. State Street, and George Rogers Park at 611 S. State Street. The center's page describes work from more than 600 artists in indoor galleries and an outdoor show, cooking demonstrations, kids' activities and live music. Dates for next year will be posted on the center's site.
More from the City
The City's calendar lists other community events, such as concerts in neighborhood parks, a Monster Mash event and a fire station open house in October. Check it for what is current.
